About Peace
It is with great pleasure that CPost International presents a series of stamps dedicated to PEACE; a small word of big importance in every persons life, family, home and country. It is something that has importance for every persons spiritual, emotional and physical welfare. By presenting the word for peace in many different languages, it not only represents the various nationalities living in Curaçao, but also shows worldwide importance. The rainbow color in the background throughout the stamps represents God’s promise. In the bible Yeshua not only often uses the greeting ‘Peace be unto you’ (Matthew 10:12) but He is referred to as the Prince of Peace in Isaiah 9:6.

119C Yahweh Shalom (hebrew) is one of the names of God meaning ‘God is Peace’ or ‘God of Peace’. It is also used idiomatically to mean both hello and goodbye. VREDE is in Dutch and Afrikaans, PAX is in French, PAX is in Latin
